Central Chile region’s gastronomy is characterized by a typical cuisine where native traditions- mapuche mostly- rural o “huasos” customs and European influence merge. The most common ingredients are legumes, potatoes, corn, avocado, bird’s meat, pork, and particularly in the coast band, the specialty is fish and seafood.
